About Us

Malmsbury Cricket Club is a family oriented club with emphasis on enjoying your cricket.

Our home ground is at Malmsbury at the magnificient Malmsbury Cricket Ground and comprises both a turf and synthetic pitch.

So if you are looking for a game of cricket, some fun and meeting new mates ... drop us a line and come down to the MCG.

Our teams

For the 2025 - 2026 season the club is fielding 3 senior teams.

The senior teams will play in the Gisborne & District Cricket Association (GDCA) in :

  • Jensen 1 grade

  • club grade north

  • club grade south

Prices: 2025-2026 season

Seniors:

$140 club fees (inc Cricket Australia related fees). Includes new warm up top

$20 ball fee per match

Juniors:

$70 club fees (inc Cricket Australia related fees). Includes new warm up top

$15 ball fee per match

No. We have players who do live in the town, others live in the adjoining area or nearby towns. Others used to live in the area but now travel back on Saturdays to play with the club. A few know someone at the club and travel to play with us.

No. We have teams of differing skill levels (in 2025-26 three teams in two different grades) to accommodate a range of abilities. We have pre-season training and training during the season to improve skills.

We had a girls u/18 team in the 2024-25 season.

For the 2025-26 season we did not have enough junior females remaining in that age group to form a team.

Junior males and females are welcome to play in either of our club grade teams.
